Airport Park Steering Committee

The Airport Park Steering Committee was established by the Coos County Airport District to guide the development of the Airport Heights Recreational Area. The committee is made up of representatives from the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club, a CCAD board member, the CCAD project consultant, and members from the community at large. CCAD has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club to develop a master plan to revitalize the existing park and additional acreage in the 13-acre area. The park currently includes a playground, sand volleyball court, basketball court, baseball field, and tennis court. The Park Steering Committee meets once a month to get updates on the development of a park master plan, discuss ongoing maintenance, and more. The meetings are open to the public.
