NORTH BEND, Ore. – The Coos County Airport District is proud to announce new enhancements at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (OTH) designed to better serve both the traveling public and the citizens of the district. The recent addition of a full-service café and upgrades to the terminal concourse reflect continued investment in improving the passenger experience and supporting local businesses.
Now open inside the airport terminal, Coastal Landing Cafe by Monkey Business Restaurant offers travelers and community members a fresh, convenient dining option. The café features a wide-ranging menu, including its award-winning clam chowder, fresh salads, rotisserie chicken wraps, fish tacos, burgers, and more. The café is open daily 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is located in the terminal at 1100 Airport Lane in North Bend.
“This is an exciting addition for our airport and our community,” said Executive Director Rodger Craddock. “Providing quality food service has been a priority for many years. The opening of Coastal Landing Cafe enhances the overall travel experience while also supporting a valued local business.”
In addition to the café, the airport has recently completed significant upgrades to the concourse and gate area. The newly enclosed and climate-controlled space features a striking photographic installation showcasing the natural beauty of Oregon’s South Coast. The improvements not only enhance comfort for passengers but also create a welcoming sense of place for visitors arriving in the region.

“These enhancements reflect our commitment to continually improving services for our passengers while also delivering value to the residents of the Coos County Airport District,” Craddock added. “As passenger numbers continue to grow, we are focused on providing amenities and infrastructure that meet the needs of today and position us for the future.”
The Southwest Oregon Regional Airport continues to offer convenient travel options with daily United Express flights, operated by SkyWest Airlines, providing year-round service to San Francisco (SFO) and seasonal daily service to Denver (DEN) which begins next month. Combined with free parking, short lines, and easy terminal access, OTH remains a convenient and efficient travel choice on the Oregon Coast.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, experience the new café, and view the other enhancements being made in the terminal. While access beyond security is typically limited to ticketed passengers, these improvements highlight the airport’s ongoing efforts to elevate the travel experience for all who pass through its doors.
