Denver Route Closes a Record-Breaking Season at OTH
The Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (OTH) has officially wrapped up its seasonal 2025 Denver (DEN) route, marking the end of a record-setting year for passenger growth and air service performance.
The DEN route, operated by United Express, helped drive nearly three times the number of enplanements in 2025 compared to 2024. When combined with the continued strength of the San Francisco (SFO) service, total passenger traffic through September was up nearly 30% over last year, positioning OTH to surpass every year since 2016 in overall enplanements.
“The Denver service exceeded all expectations,” said Airport Executive Director Rodger Craddock. “The increase from two flights a week to daily service created an entirely new level of accessibility for both visitors to the coast and residents traveling across the country.”
The route’s performance was extraordinary — a 187% increase through September — transforming from a steady performer to a key driver of the airport’s record-breaking year. Final numbers for the seasonal DEN route will be updated in November.
With the seasonal Denver route now complete until May of 2026, travelers are encouraged to take advantage of daily, year-round service to San Francisco (SFO) — offering fast, easy connections across the U.S. and the world. Airport officials also remind travelers to book early for the holidays, as schedules tend to fill quickly with increased travel demand.
Together, the DEN and SFO routes continue to diversify travel options for South Coast residents and visitors, helping fuel the region’s tourism and economic growth.
