Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Master Plan Community Meeting

An indoor event is taking place with a group of people gathered, chatting, and informational displays present in a spacious area.

27 August 2026

(North Bend, OR) - The Coos County Airport District invites the community to learn more about the development of the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Master Plan on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The plan will cover what the airport should look like over the next 10 to 15 years. It will also help in the development of priorities to assist with securing local, state, and federal funding.

Ardurra is developing the Master Plan with input from the community, airport administration, and the Project Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC will meet in open session from 3–4 p.m. to focus on Requirements and Alternatives, including a project update, forecast review, airport facility requirements, potential development alternatives, and next steps.

Then, from 5–7 p.m., the community is invited to take part. The Community Open House will begin with a short presentation at 5 p.m. highlighting how the Master Plan has progressed since the process launched in January. Community members can then view the work completed to date, learn about future airport needs and potential development alternatives, talk with Ardurra and Airport representatives, ask questions, and provide input. The meeting will be held in the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Terminal. For more information, contact Stephanie Kilmer, PIO, (541) 756-8531 extension 207.
