North Bend, OR – As the United States Army marks its 250th birthday on Saturday, June 14th  , with a grand national celebration, including a military parade in Washington, D.C., Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (OTH) and it's partners are proud to honor those who serve.

In recognition of this milestone, from June 11 through June 18, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at OTH will honor this legacy. The TSA will provide active-duty military members in uniform and their immediate family members traveling with them access to the TSA PreCheck lane to expedite the screening process.

This local effort is part of a broader nationwide initiative to support military families as they travel for commemorations and homecomings. Southwest Oregon Regional Airport and TSA join airports across the country in recognizing this moment of national pride. Currently, the airport offers two daily flights on United Express operated by SkyWest. Those destinations are San Francisco, which operates year-round, and Denver, with a seasonal flight available through October 25, 2025.
